Our After School Provison is held in the classroom block behind the hall.
We are open to welcome children from the end of school and the session continues as a short session to 4.30 pm (£4.00) and we have extended our long session to be open until 6.00 pm (£9.00).
Various activities are available eg Lego, drawing, board games, reading, colouring and puzzles and outdoor activities in good weather.
* All sessions must be booked and paid in advance via the Arbor app. We have a maximum number spaces per session and these are booked on a first come first served basis. If you are unable to select a session this means that day is full and we are unable to accept any more children. Early bookings are encouraged to secure a space and can be made up to 24 hours before the club is due to start ie 15.30 pm the day before. If you are unable to select a session (long or short) before the deadline that means that session is full and cannot accept any more bookings. However, we suggest checking the other session (short or long) as there may be space in the other half. If you can book into neither, and are in desperate need either before or after the deadline, please don’t call the office – they don’t have the numbers – please email wraparoundcare@horncastleprimary.co.uk as early as possible – giving your name and phone number, the name(s) and classes of the child(ren) and what you need to book.
* Please wait until you have a response (either email or phone). Please do not just hope for the best as we have a maximum number of children permitted per day to maintain ratios. We are very keen to avoid having to call you late in the day to collect your children as this upsets everyone.
* Please ensure that your child’s account is topped up with sufficient funds to enable you to book. Please use the Googleform here to notify us of a TFC payment to enable staff to verify and upload your funds, however please note that Tax Free Childcare sometimes takes a couple of days or so for the funds to be available for use.
* Please request any cancellations/changes to bookings via the email below as soon as possible to enable the space to be available to other parents. If made with more than 48 hrs notice, the charge will be refunded back to your child’s WrapAround Care Account in Arbor. Cancellations with insufficient notice will not be refunded.

Wraparound care for Children with SEND Needs
Health & Safety, and Staffing Considerations
Horncastle Primary is committed to providing an inclusive wraparound care environment for all children. However, the health, safety, and well-being of every child in our care is our paramount concern.
We are proactive in ensuring that any appropriate action is taken when a child is identified as such. Their welfare and development is promoted so that they have equal access to the play provision. Staffing arrangements are considered to meet the individual needs of children who have special needs but unfortunately we cannot offer 1:1 support for any child. The environment is organised so that these children have equal access to the facilities and activities available.
The special needs of children whatever their nature is treated with discretion, sensitivity and above all, confidentiality.
To ensure we can provide appropriate support, parents of children with additional needs are strongly advised to request an informal chat via our school email: enquiries@horncastleprimary.co.uk prior to booking a space in our wraparound care facility.
