Our club provides safe, fun, and engaging care for your children both before and after school.
🕰️ Session Times and Fees
We offer two flexible sessions in the afternoon, running from the end of the school day:

🧸 Activities Available
Children have access to a variety of activities designed to be relaxing and engaging after the school day, including:

Creative Play: Lego, drawing, colouring, and puzzles.

Quiet Time: Reading and board games.

Outdoor Fun: Supervised outdoor activities (weather permitting).
📝 Booking and Payment
All club sessions must be booked and paid for in advance via the Arbor app.
Securing Your Space

Book Early: Sessions are booked on a first-come, first-served basis, as we have a maximum number of spaces per session to maintain required staff-to-child ratios.

Booking Deadline: Bookings must be made at least 24 hours before the club is due to start (e.g., by 3:30 pm the day before).

Club Full: If you are unable to select a session (short or long), it means that session is full. Please try booking the alternative session (short or long) as space may still be available.
Urgent Booking and Queries

Please do not call the School Office for booking questions, as they do not manage the club numbers.

If you have an urgent need for a space and cannot book online (or if both sessions show as full), please email us immediately at: wraparoundcare@horncastleprimary.co.uk

Include your name, phone number, the child’s name(s) and class(es), and the required session.

Wait for Confirmation: Please do not send your child unless you have received a confirmation response (via email or phone). We must adhere strictly to our maximum capacity.
Finances and Cancellations

Account Funds: Please ensure your Arbor account is topped up with sufficient funds before attempting to book a session.

Tax-Free Childcare (TFC): TFC payments can take a couple of days to clear and become available in Arbor. To notify us of a TFC payment so staff can verify and upload the funds, please use this Google Form: [Insert Google Form Link Here].

Cancellations: Request all cancellations or changes via email (wraparoundcare@horncastleprimary.co.uk) as soon as possible.

Cancellations made with more than 48 hours notice will be refunded to your child’s Wraparound Care Account in Arbor.

Cancellations made with insufficient notice will not be refunded.

Wraparound care for Children with SEND Needs
Health & Safety, and Staffing Considerations
Horncastle Primary is committed to providing an inclusive wraparound care environment for all children. However, the health, safety, and well-being of every child in our care is our paramount concern.
We are proactive in ensuring that any appropriate action is taken when a child is identified as such. Their welfare and development is promoted so that they have equal access to the play provision. Staffing arrangements are considered to meet the individual needs of children who have special needs but unfortunately we cannot offer 1:1 support for any child. The environment is organised so that these children have equal access to the facilities and activities available.
The special needs of children whatever their nature is treated with discretion, sensitivity and above all, confidentiality.
To ensure we can provide appropriate support, parents of children with additional needs are strongly advised to request an informal chat via our school email: enquiries@horncastleprimary.co.uk prior to booking a space in our wraparound care facility.
