We are delighted that your child will be joining us at Horncastle Community Primary School. In normal circumstances we would be sending out packs to individual children, with information on classes, start times etc. However, I’m sure you’ll appreciate that this is unfortunately not possible at the moment, although we will confirm details as soon as we possibly can.

This letter details our arrangements for induction which have been affected by our partial school closure due to the pandemic.
Please ensure that this form is returned to us by the time your child starts school in September (you can bring it with you on your first day if you wish!).
School uniform can be purchased from Nationwide School Uniforms. However, for the foreseeable future, our children are not required to wear school uniform. As a profession, we do not know yet what school provision will look like in September. For those two reasons, we would urge you not to buy any uniform items at the current time.
Families who receive certain benefits may be eligible for free school meals. Registering for free meals could also raise an extra £1,320 for school to fund valuable support like extra tuition, additional teaching staff or after school activities. This additional money is available from central
government for every child whose parent is receiving one of the benefits listed above.
