The 2017/18 Year Book is now available to read on the Year Book page… Good luck to all our Year 6 pupils who are moving on to new schools… We hope all our pupils and families have a wonderful summer break – school starts again on Wednesday 5th September…

What can I do at home?

A common worry among parents is keeping their children safe when using the internet at home. We have therefore set this page up with resources that we think might be useful for parents (or anybody!) to use at home.

The Childnet website has lots of really useful information for staying safe online. One very useful page on their website is all about setting up parental controls across a range of internet service providers (BT, Sky, Virgin Media and Talk Talk). Click here to access their instructions and find out how to ensure your home set-up is as safe as possible.

Lincolnshire Stay Safe Partnership videos -

Lincolnshire Stay Safe Partnership and Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children Board have begun creating brief videos to help parents understand e-safety and what they can do at home. Topics include 'a quick chat about game ratings' and 'a quick chat about parental controls'. Please click here to view these very useful and informative videos.

How to Set Parental Control to YouTube Videos

Another worry is the material that can be accessed through YouTube (video content, comments etc). YouTube itself has parental controls - this video explains how to set them up.

Please note that there are lots of websites and further information that can be found online. A selection of these can be found on our school's e-safety resources page by clicking below.
